This session will examine how tightening supply chain, trade, and environmental regulations?particularly in the United States and Europe?are reshaping the global battery industry. It will assess geopolitical risks and dependence on specific countries for critical materials such as lithium, nickel, cobalt, and graphite. The presentation will explore resilient sourcing strategies encompassing supplier diversification, long-term procurement agreements, resource development, and recycling, while outlining corporate responses and policy measures needed to strengthen Korea’s raw material security and battery supply chain resilience.
