This presentation proposes "Super-Gap" R&D strategies for K-Battery to maintain technological leadership amidst rapidly shifting global secondary battery policies in the US and Europe. Moving beyond conventional lithium-ion limitations, the session focuses heavily on next-generation form factors, particularly solid-state and lithium-metal batteries. We deeply analyze core technical bottlenecks, such as dendrite growth and interfacial resistance, exploring breakthrough solutions for commercialization. Furthermore, we discuss how advancing these next-generation technologies serves as a proactive response to global supply chain restructuring. Ultimately, the session emphasizes the vital necessity of academic-industrial open innovation and robust performance verification platforms to secure technological hegemony.
