Finland views EV battery ecosystem as a key national industry and is making continuous efforts to maintain sustainable competitiveness. Finland is building a comprehensive EV battery ecosystem from minerals and materials to cells and recycling. Furthermore, Finland provides various subsidies to support Finnish companies and actively attract investment from overseas firms. With a strong focus on innovative technology development, the government, companies, research institutes, and universities collaborate closely to ensure competitiveness in EV battery industry.
